Blaine Wohlgemuth (he/him) is a Chicago-based actor, improviser, and on-camera performer.
Blaine has trained on-camera at The Acting Studio of Chicago and The Forge, sharpening a screen-first approach built for film, TV, and commercial work. His performances are grounded, with humor, charm, and a touch of heart underneath.
He'll next be seen in two upcoming short films: Decay, a slow-burn drama about a husband chasing corporate success while his wife quietly decays at home, unnoticed (dir. Luisa Freimuth), and Matchmaker, a rom-com from director Rachael Doel. Recent stage credits include Everything you need to know about abortion in an hour or less at The Den Theatre (dir. Kimberly Miller).
His secret weapon? Eleven years of improv across Second City, iO, and The Annoyance — a habit that makes him adaptable, collaborative, and ready for whatever a director throws at him. Off-camera, he bikes through Chicago winters, defends a rec-league volleyball championship, and is steadily chipping away at beginner piano. Currently seeking representation — a partner ready to grow with him as he builds the next chapter of his career. Inquiries: BlaineWActing@gmail.com.
